At Geek Foundry, we strive to provide our customers with quality products that are free of defects, blemishes, and other issues.
From time to time, a flawed product from a manufacturer may sneak its way past our highly-trained team of Gnomish package inspectors and make its way into our stock. We’ll do our level best to remedy such situations by offering a replacement, an in-store credit, or a refund on the product if the other options aren’t suitable…and we’ll sack the Gnomes.

Please contact us within 7 business days if you need to return a defective item. Return shipping is paid by the buyer unless the item was damaged or defective. The item must be returned in the same condition it was received for a refund or exchange.
If an item requires a refund or adjustment for any reason, you must contact us within 7 business days of the package delivery. After 7 but less than 30 days from final delivery, any adjustments will be sent as store credit. After 30 days, requests for refunds/returns will not be honored.
Merchandise that is listed in our shop as “Hand-Crafted”, “Scratch-built”, or Digital Content is not eligible for exchange or return. All other merchandise (not marked as Hand-Crafted, Scratch-Built, or Digital Content) is returnable/exchangeable as long as the following requirements are met:
Clothing: All returned clothing items must be clean, unworn, and have any original tags still attached. Items that appear to have been washed or worn will not be honored for a return or refund.
Games, Model kits, dice sets, items with multiple pieces: All pieces that the item shipped with must be returned in order to qualify for an exchange, in-store credit, or refund, other than merchandise that is returned due to pieces missing upon opening of the item.
Printed items/Publications: All printed books, modules, codexes, weighty tomes, manifestos, and other such printed reading materials must be returned clean and free of stains or other such blemishes (unless the product is being returned because of a defect), with all pages present and intact and must include any posters, cards, punch-out materials, or other such bonus content intact and unpunched, uncut, unseparated.
Items That Cannot Be Returned
Most merchandise purchased from Geek Foundry can be returned per the terms outlined above. There are, however, a few types of products that cannot be returned for replacement, in-store credit, or refunds. Those are:
- Hand-Crafted/Scratch-Built Items
- Digital Content
Hand-Crafted/Scratch-Built Items
The nature of our hand-crafted or scratch-built items is that each one is unique and has its own unique characteristics. Each item is made with care and attention to detail and gets the tabletop test to assure it’s ready to ship and use in your game. These items are sold as-is and are not eligible for returns or refunds.
Digital Content
Digital content and other downloaded purchases, including but not limited to downloadable PDFs, JPGs, MP3s, gift cards, and shrink-wrapped items that have been opened, are not returnable. However, if you run into issues with compatibility or quality with your content, please contact us for help and resolution.
Your order details, payment details, and personal information are sent securely at the point of checkout to our payment partner PayPal’s server via an encrypted SSL connection, helping to ensure that your transaction is kept private and safe. You can shop with peace of mind knowing that your information is secure. Even if you opt not to use PayPal directly, our payment gateway uses an encrypted, secure connection to transmit your payment data.
The personal information that you register on our site when you create an account and the little bit of information that you send when you checkout as a guest is kept private and secure and is never shared, sold, traded, divulged, or otherwise given to any third parties. This information is used only to process your order and keep you updated on the status of your order.
Under the normal course of a purchase transaction you will receive various emails from Geek Foundry such as an order confirmation or receipt, a shipping notice, and an order status email if any items you ordered are out of stock, on back order, or if the order or shipping details have changed. By making a purchase on our site as a registered member, or as a guest, you give consent to receive these emails.
Creating an account on Geek Foundry is a safe and quick way to store your shipping information so your next purchase is that much easier. Again, your information is kept safe and is not shared or sold in any way, shape, or form to third-party marketers. We may from time to time send you simple marketing updates such as sale notices or coupons via the email that you registered with. When you create an account you give your consent to allow us to send these emails. Listen–we’re not fans of spam and we promise to keep these emails to a minimum. Besides that, you can always opt out at any time by clicking the Opt-out link at the bottom of any email or contacting Customer Service via our Contact Form.
GDPR Policy
Geekfoundry.net only sells product in the continental US due to extremely high shipping costs to other countries. We do not store, maintain, process, or otherwise handle orders or any personal information originating from EU consumers in EU countries. If you are a EU citizen looking for gaming products, we highly encourage you to look for local sources or online sources that ship to EU countries.
How does Geek Foundry ship packages?
Geek Foundry ships via USPS First Class or Priority depending on the weight and value of the item.
How long will it take my order ship?
Typically it will ship next business day (Monday – Friday). However, during peak times or holidays, handling time–the time it takes to process, pack, seal, and get your order to the Post Office–may take longer. Please check this Shipping Details page at checkout for an up-to-date handling estimate.
What’s the difference between Shipping and Handling again?
“Handling” refers to receiving your order, pulling the merchandise off of a shelf, checking it against your order, packing it carefully in a box, printing an invoice/packing slip, taping the box shut, and then getting that box to the postal carrier. Most of the time this can be done within 2 business days (business days being Monday through Friday).
However, during periods where orders are heavy or during major holidays (think Christmas), handling time may increase slightly. We like a little break for turkey, too. 😉
